[Jakarta, 14 March 2025] – The Faculty of Computer Science and Design , Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma, has held a smooth proposal hearing for the Information System Study Program. A total of 38 students divided into 3 hearing rooms successfully presented with great enthusiasm. This hearing aims to ensure that the quality of students’ thesis proposals improves before entering the research stage.
This proposal hearing was led by the Head of the Information System Study Program, Muryan Awaludin, S.Kom., M.Kom., who expressed his pride in the students’ participation and preparation. “We greatly appreciate the enthusiasm and dedication of the students in compiling their proposals. This hearing is an important step to ensure that their research has a strong foundation and is relevant to the development of information technology”, said Muryan.
The hearing was held in three different rooms, with the examining lecturers consisting of Ir. Peniarsih, M.M.Si., Hepi Nuryadi, S.Kom., M.Kom., Dedi Setiadi, M.Kom., Fitria Risyda, S.Kom., M.Kom., dan Yoke Lucia Renica Rehatalanit, S.Kom., M.M. Each student was given about 15-20 minutes to present their proposal, followed by a question and answer session and input from the examiners.
Some of the proposal topics presented covered current areas such as big data, artifical intelligence, cybersecurity, and web-based information system development. The examiners provided constructive suggestions to help students refine their proposals before proceeding to the research stage.
One of the participants in the trial, Rina Fitriani, expressed her gratitude after completing her proposal presentation. “This trial gave me valuable experience. The suggestions from the examiners were very helpful in improving my proposal to be more focused and directed”, she said.
With the end of this proposal hearing, it is hoped that students can immediately proceed to the research and thesis writing stage with a refined proposal. The Faculty of Computer Science and Design, Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma, is committed to continuing to support students in producing quality research that is beneficial to the development of science and technology.
This event is also real evidence of the commitment of the Information Systems Study Program in producing competent graduates who are ready to compete in the digital era. In the future, proposal hearings will continue to be held routinely as part of the academic quality assurance process.
