In today’s digital era, mastery of Informatio Technology (IT) and the ability to use office applications have becaome essential in various aspects of life, including for community organizations. One example is the women who are part of the Family Welfare Empowerment Team (TP PKK), who play a vital role in driving family development at the village/urban ward level and hold strategic positions that increasingly require technological support. TP PKK carries out a wide range of programs in the fields of education, health, economy, and the environment.
The semester’s Community Service Program was carried out with the aim of assisting the Family Welfare Empowerment Team in using Microsoft Office applications to support the implementation of technology. The focus of this community service activity was on introducing information technology and providing basic training in the use of Microsoft Office applications for TP PKK members, making it highly relevant and beneficial.
The Community Service Team, consisting of lecturers and students from the Faculty of Computer Science and Design, delivered materials needed by the TP PKK members, namely Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. These three applications are essential software tools widely used in office and administrative activities.
Through this ommunity service activity, it is expected that TP PKK will continue to innovate and leverage information technology as a tool to achieve their noble goals of empowering families and improving the overall welfare of the community.
