Socialization of Security Manage Training (SMT) Program: Short Course Opportunities in South Korea

On Thursday, 26 June 2025, Universitas Marsekal Suryadarma (UNSURYA) through the Vice Rector III held a socialization of the Security Manpower Training (SMT) Program in collaboration with the Korea Information Security Industry Association (KISIA). This event was held online via Google Meet and was attended by University leaders, lecturers, and UNSURYA students.

About KISIA 
KISIA is an information security industry association supported by the South Korea Government. This association aims to advance the information security industry by providing educational forums, publications, and networking opportunities for its members. KISIA has more than 200 member companies engaged in network, system, and device security solutions.

Material Socilization
In this socialization, it was conveyed that the SMT Program is a short course designed to provide intensive training in the field of information security. This program offers participants the opportunity to:

  1. Improve knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity.

  2. Access networking opportunities with profecional industries in South Korea.

  3. Obtain internationally recognized certification.

The event was interactive with a question and answer session, where participants enthusiastically asked about registration requirements, program duration, and benefits that could be obtained.

SMT Program Implementation Details
The SMT program will be implemented in South Korea with the following schedule and requirements:

  • Registration: Open until 15 July 2025

  • Specifivations:

    • Active students or graduates of UNSURYA.

    • Have an interest in information security or technology.

    • Master basic English (TOEFL/IELTS is an added value).

  • Duration: 2 weeks of intensive training.

  • Facilities: Accommodation, local transportation, and training materials.
