LP3M Unsurya Holds Monitoring and Evaluation for the Information Systems Study Program in Preparation for Re-Accreditation

As part of the re-accreditation preparations, on Monday, 13 May 2024, a monitoring and evaluation session was conducted to assess the completeness of documentation in the Information System Study Program. This activity was organized by LP3M Unsurya. Each study program is required to prepare key documents such as teaching assignments (SK Mengajar), semester lecture journals, class attendance records, academic transcripts (KHS), course registration forms (KRS), course syllabi (RPS), and evidence of academic atmosphere activities. LP3M Unsurya carried out document inventory and provided assistance in evaluating the completeness of these materials within the Information Systems Study Program. BAsed on the results of this evaluation, areas that are lacking and need improvement will be identified and addressed accordingly.

Program Monev (Monitoring dan Evaluasi) is a routine and crucial activity to ensure the quality of study program implementation at the university level. More than just a measuring tool, Monev serves as a benchmark to drive progress and improve the quality of the program. It is typically conducted on a regular basis, at least once a year.

The Head of the Institute for Quality Assurance (Dr. Khaerudin, M.M.) provided several directives to the head and secretary of the Information System Program, urging them to promptly engage in discussions with all faculty members regarding the preparation of educational standards, especially with the accreditation process approaching. He emphasized the importance of completing all required documents and focusing on the future advancement of the program, ensuring it continues to maintain high standards. It is ecpected that through this Monev activity, the Information System Study Program will continue to enhance optimal results in the upcoming accreditation.

Study Program Monev is an essential instrument for ensuring that academic programs are delivered with high quality in higher education institutions. By conducting systematic and regular monitoring and evaluation, programs can continuosly improve and better prepare graduates who are competent and ready to enter the workforce.
