As part of the preparation for re-accreditation, on Monday, 17 May 2024, monitoring and evaluation were conducted to assess the completeness of documentes in the Informatics Management Study Program. This activity was organized by LP3M Unsurya. Each study program is required to prepare several documents, including teaching assignments (SK mengajar). semester lecture journals, attendance records, academic transcripts (KHS), course registration forms (KRS), cource syllabi (RPS), and evidence of academic activities. LP3M Unsurya carried out inventory and mentoring to evaluate the completeness of these documents in the Informatics Management Study Program. The evaluation results will identify areas that are lacking and need improvement to be addressed promptly.
Study Program Monev (Monitoring dan Evaluasi) is a routine and essential ectivity to ensure the quality of academic program implementation at universities. More than just an assessment tool, Monev serves as a benchmark to drive the advancement and quality improvement of study programs. Typically, Monev is conducted periodically, at least once a year.
The Head of the Institute for Quality Assurance (Dr. Drs. Khaerudin, M.M.) provided extensive guidance to the head and secretary of the study program, urging them to engage in discussions with all lecturers in the Informatics Management Program regarding the preparation for educational standards, especially with accreditation approaching. He emphasized that all required documents must be completed promptly and that the program should focus on progress and maintaining high quality. It is hoped that through this Monev activity, the Informatics Management Program will continue to improve its educational standards and achieve the best possible accreditaion outcome.
Monitoring and Evaluation for Accreditation is a crucial step in a study program’s journey toward achieving excellence. Through Monev, the program can assess its readiness for accreditation assessments and identify areas that require strengthening. The main objectives of Accreditation Monev include:
- Ensuring that the study program meets the quality standards set by the National Accreditation Agency for Hogher Education (BAN-PT)
- Identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the program
- Developing follow-up plans for improvement and quality enhancement.
- Increasing accountability in program implementation to stakeholders.
Study Program Monev is a vital instrument for ensuring that academic programs are delivered with high standards. By conducting Monev regularly and systematically, study programs can continuously improve and better prepare graduates who are competent and ready for the workforce.
