On the afternoon of 21 March, the Informatics Student Association (HIMI) held a special event to welcome the holy month of Ramadhan. With a spirit of togetherness and compassion, HIMI organized a takjil (iftar snacks) distribution event for the local community.
As the sun began to set, HIMI members gathered at a designated location to greet the surrounding residents. They brought a veriety of traditional takjil, thoughtfully prepared with care and love.
“We feel happy and grateful to be able to share joy with the community during this Ramadhan”, said one HIMI member.
This event was not only about distributing takjil, but also served as a moment to strengthen social bonds between HIMI members and the local residents. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and a strong sense of togetherness throughout the distribution.
The HIMI Chairperson stated, “We hope that through this activity, we can bring a little joy and Ramadhan spirit to the community around us. May this holy month bring blessings to us all”.
The takjil distribution event by HIMI was more than just about sharing food-it was a true expression of solidarity and unity during Ramadhan. This spirit of giving is hoped to continue flourishing within the community, not only during Ramadhan but throughout the entire year.
