The Faculty of Computer Science and Design at Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma successfully conducted a workshop titled “Building Strong Research Narratives…” on February 28 at the Hercules Auditorium of the university. The event featured Prof. Dr Ir. Hapzi Ali, an accomplished academic with an outstanding research track record, as the keynote speaker. This workshop was specifically designed to equip participants with strategic skills in crafting effective research narratives, encompassing literature review article writing and transforming proposals into accredited journal publications.
Throughout the six-hour session, participants—including faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students—received comprehensive training on internationally standardized academic writing structures. Prof. Hapzi Ali shared in-depth insights on constructing robust scientific arguments and strategies for converting research into publishable articles in reputable journals. The interactive discussion sessions, directly facilitated by the speaker, provided participants with opportunities for personalized consultations regarding specific challenges in their scientific manuscript development.
In his opening remarks, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Design, Dr. Yohannes Dewanto, emphasized the critical importance of strengthening research capacity as the foundation for developing superior human resources. “This workshop embodies our faculty’s commitment to cultivating researchers capable of making significant contributions to the global scientific arena,” he stated.
