Ramadan is a month full of blessings, and one of the doors opened by Allah to gain blessings is through giving charity. This is exactly what the students of the Informatics Student Association (HIMI) at Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma Jakarta are doing by distributing takjil (iftar snacks) to passing drivers in front of the BKKBN on 13 April 2023. The takjil distribution activity is part of a series of events held during this holy month of Ramadan.
This takjil distribution aims to provide iftar snacks to drivers and people in need who may not have the chance to break their fast at home.
The event’s coordinator, Muhammad Ichsan Nudin, explained that Ramadan is a blessed month to share with others. He added that besides being an annual activity conducted by HIMI, the purpose of distributing takjil is also to foster a sense of care among fellow Muslims and gratitude to Allah for being able to meet again during this holy month of Ramadan.
Furthermore, Muhammad Pasha Nur Fauzan, as the chairman of the association, stated that another goal of this takjil distribution is to strengthen the sense of family among members and to instill a sense of responsibility in the younger members (AM) who are new to these activities. It also serves as a momentum to share with others.
After the takjil distribution, God willing, we will break our fast together at the Hercules Hall, Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma, Campus A.
