Universtias Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma (Unsurya) – Organizational Training (DIKLAT) to Strengthen Human Resources and Foster Student Development in Information Systems and Informatics Management. Every organization has goals that must be achieved by all its members, especially students of the Information System & Informatics Management program. Organization training (DIKLAT) is a strategic effort to improve the quality of human resources. This proves that education and training are crucial for equipping individuals with the capabilities needed to support and realize an organization’s vision. In today’s era, every organization strives to have competent and high-quality human resources.
Essentially, DIKLAT consists of two closely related terms – education and training – which have different meanings and orientations. According to Notoatmodjo (2003), “Education generally focuses on preparing prospective workers needed by an organization or institution”, while “Training, on the other hand, aims to enhance the skills and abilities of employees already holding a position”. Therefore, this activity is expected to provide knowledge and strengthen the unity of students, particularly those in the Information Systems & Informatics Management Departement.
In this event, it is hoped that students will gain hard skills and soft skills in organization and be able to familiarize themselves more with all Information Systems & Informatics Management students, so that they can apply these skills when they enter society.
The foundations of this DIKLAT activity include:
1. The Tri Dharma of Higher Education
2. The Work Program of HIMI Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma for the 2022/2023 period
The objectives of the training include:
- Equipping students with hard and soft skills in organizational enviroments
- Enhancing camaraderie among Information Systems & Informatics Management students
- Encouraging personal development
- Shaping students into individuals with critical and analytical thinking abilities when facing problems
The theme of this DIKLAT activity is, “Improve interest technology information”, which is expected to spark creativity, sharpen skills, and improve participants’ effectiveness in understanding the world of information technology. The HIMI DIKLAT activity was held at Campus C, Unsurya, over two days: March 10-11, 2023.
The event was attended by Mr. Sumarjo, S.H., M.M., M.H., Head of the Student Affairs Bureau, and Mr. Muryan Awaludin, S.Kom., M.Kom., Head of the Information Systems and Informatics Management Study Program, who delivered opening remarks.
