Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma (Unsurya), August 5, 2020 – After completing their studies in their respective departments, students of Information Systems, Informatics Management, and PLLU who had previously been declared to have passed the final thesis or final project examination were officially inaugurated this morning as Associate Experts or Bachelor graduates in their respective departments during the Yudisium ceremony.
In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Mr. Parulian Simamora, M.Sc., delivered a message about discipline as a foundation for graduates to survive in the workforce they will face next. He emphasized that discipline is indeed the key to an individual’s success regardless of the skills they master. This was followed by the Head of IAS in his speech, who stated that graduates need to possess integrity and honesty as well as obedience both to their workplace supervisors and to their parents at home.
Accompanied by the Head of Study Program, the Yudisium participants received their Graduation Certificates (Surat Keterangan Lulus – SKL), signed by the Dean of FTI Unsurya as official validation of the documents. With the SKL in hand, the graduates can start looking for jobs while waiting for their diplomas to be officially published. Meanwhile, the D3 PLLU graduates will be directly placed at the airport for On-the-Job Training (OJT).
Furthermore, the graduation ceremony itself will still be held, with planning and procedures currently under serious discussion to organize a special ceremony while still adhering to recommended health protocols.
